Long shot..but I need a new set of violin strings before I go to Cordoba on saturday and the one place I knew in the city has run out..ideally I'm looking for a set of dominants, but would be willing to take another quality brand..I've been playing on hideous crap for months and I can't take it anymore!!..ha ha...

You could go to Sarmiento street . Callao and Talcahuano are the intersections delimiting an area of 5 blocks full of music shops.

Thanks Aleina..are there string shops?..really need a specialist shop..most music shops I've been into there, while very good, only have amateur strings... :-(

Hmm,now you got me. I am afraid it would be a matter of going to see them .to ask. what they have. Alternatively google casas de musica and enquire by phone. Good luck.

I don't know if it serve the purpose...

You could ask at Teatro Colón, ... someone might be able to point you in the right direction there.

Thanks all..there is another place, but I may be too late now..gracias!..IABhutto, I don't have a bank card I can use at the moment, but thank you..also I think this is only an 'E' string..cheers!!!...
