DOMINICAN REPUBLIC TO BA

My boyfriend and I are thinking of relocating to Buenos Aires. Everything we have read about the city has been fabulous. We are ready to get on the plane tomorrow, but we need more information. I am not sure we will fit in racially. My boyfriend is Dominican and I am Africian American and we are dark skinned. Will that effect us in Buenos Aires?

Well... be prepared for a culture shock... but other than that, i don't think you will have any issues....

Theres a Dominican community here too in Congreso - the only club/restaurant i knew of shut down about 2-3 years ago..

i dont think you,ll have any problems at all ,,b a is a mix of lots of different cultures and colours ,,,,any small minded people out there arent worth knowing and there are plenty of good people around the city so i,m positive you wont have any problems.anyway good luck and take care .
