I looked up but I couldn't find the answer to my question in former dissuasions: I've a Dutch driving license and I'm trying to figure out where I can request for the Argentinean driving license HAVING a Argentinean nationality as well.

Anybody?

You'll need to take the written and driving test, plus only get a beginner license - http://www.discoverbuenosaires.com/drivers-license-buenos-aires

Sleuth, have they changed the rules?
When I first went for my Arg licence, I presented my DNI with perm res, UK license and all I had to do was recognise a few road signs and have my eyes checked.
I recently renewed the licence for another 5 years, added motorbikes to the category and picked up the licence a few days later.
It's interesting to note that they never once took a copy of my UK licence nor scrutinised it or asked me to take any kind of test.

If you have the power to choose where you get your registro, do it in Provincia, they are way more lax than in Capital.

In Capital, because of an accident happened last year where a taxi driver killed a girl going against the traffic at Santa Fe and Junin, they eliminated the posibility of someone with diabetes to drive. I have diabetes, and find it quite discriminatory. They of course have a point, the accident, but I googled it and found it is very rare the prohibition to drive for diabeticos. At least in spanish speaking countries, Capital Federal is the only place with this prohibition.

Does it follow that if your DNI address is in Cap Fed you have to do it there?
I did mine in Olivos.

you have to do it where your DNI says, so if you moved since you got your DNI you should first do the address change.

can I get a drivers license here with nothing but a foreign passport?

How would I get a drivers license? I'm a bit confused by the requirements. The 1I have from Canada is going to expire in like 2 weeks and I have a DNI (the one that says foreigner and temporary, valid for 1 year) and my passport and a residency certificate. What do I need to do?
