English-language events in San Telmo

Hi y'all,

It's nice living in San Telmo, but one thing I miss about being in Palermo is the wealth of expat/English language events. My Spanish is improving, and I'm meeting some Porteños, but now and then it's really nice to get a break and hang out with some English speakers, and I don't always want to trek over to Palermo.

Any suggestions? Either for English language events or for expat haunts in San Telmo where English is widely spoken?

Hey,

Have you tried gibraltar (Peru 895) or porta roja (Chacabuco 733)? Lots of english speakers usually and well as Argentines, so it's a nice mix!

Tonight is the English Language Second Story event at Absinth Bar in Congreso. It's not that far away. It starts at 9:30 pm at 1995 Bartolomé Mitre (@ R. Peña).
