yes, of course, when you attend Teacher's training college or are taking a Translation course of studies at University subjects like Phonetics and Laboratory are compulsory.
Having said that, attendance is only open to the students enroled in that course of studies obviously but you could try and contact a graduate from Joaquin V Gonzalez or Lenguas Vivas to teach you the basics.
