English speaking doctor in Recoleta or Palermo area

Can someone let me know of the best way to see an english speaking doctor in BA? And suggest a decent one in either Recoleta or Palermo please?

We have travel insurance, but depending on the price we could just pay cash. Is there a standard consultation fee?

We have been to BA a few times but never needed a doc before. Any recommendations are greatly appreciated.

Easiest is the Policlínico of the Hospital Alemán, on Pueyrredón and Beruti near Recoleta. It's a walk-in clinic (0900-1600 aprox. on working days only) with most specialties represented. Take your passport and a credit card or some cash (I think A$ 100-150 these days), and get in the line on the right as you enter. For a general practitioner, ask for Clinico Medico. You'll pay and receive a receipt with a number that will be called from an electronic board.

Staff are excellent, almost all speak at least some English, and most are quite fluent. When you meet your doctor, tell him or her that you need to speak English. If they can't deal with that, they will arrange for you to see a colleague who is more comfortable in English.
