Expat Families with Children

Hello,
I am arriving in Buenos Aires next week with my 12 1/2-year-old son and 10-year old daughter. I'm hoping to meet other families with children of similar ages in the area. We will be in Recoleta/Palermo area. I am planning on homeschooling/using an online public school curriculum from the states, but am also open to possibly putting them in a local school. If you are interested in meeting or getting together or have some advice for me, I would appreciate it!

Homeschooling is great, we have done it. However, your children may enjoy meeting friends their own age by going to school. We found a wonderful school near Palermo called Escuela Del Sol. They have been around for 43 years, and we have met parents from all over the world who have enrolled their children, Some for just a few months. Mariana Brio is the Headmaster.
