Extracting $100 USD

In Colonia, Uruguay, you can get a max of 900 USD per day, but have to do three extraccions of 300 USD each.
They will charge you for each extraccion.
You can take the Colonia Express boat (cheapest) say Monday night, pick 900 USD, stay in a cheap hostel for the night, get another 900 USD next morning and then come back.
I used to do it all the time.
Henry, would you have recommendations for which bank / ATM to use in Colonia? I've been there and it seems pretty random, ok, I didn't know about the USD 300 limit, but some ATMs did disgorge Dollars, some didn't, it could have been because it was out of banking hours, or I requested too much dosh, or whatever.

My XP from a few years ago. Most banks have the $300 restrictions per extraction with a steep ccommision ($5 if I can recall) and the max $900 per day.
Banco Republica del Uruguay used to deliver $1000 against a Mastercard thru the Cashier window, once a day. All banks are on the main street within a 5 block radius. Names ?
The day starts after the banks close . The ATM's are replenished before the Banks open at 1 pm? Some ATM's accesible after hours, may not have dollars.
The Casino has an ATM machine open 24 hours? After midnight can make extractions foras a new day.

As far as I know, all atms in Uruguay dispense dollars and URU pesos depending on availability.

Hi all. Are there any ATMs left in the city where I can use my Schwab debit card to pull out $100 USD bills?
I thought not, but my ex says yes, it's still possible at certain ATMs in the city?
If not, has anyone recently flown to Chile to get USD?
If you don't need that super urgently, I can help. I am coming to Buenos Aires from the US on June 19, I can bring you USD bills cash for pesos at the Blue rate. As Western Union doesn't let me send money online, I will bring cash for several months.

If you ask around amongst your friends, you will find a trustworthy contact acting as finance intermediaries. You deposit USD on a US bank (or whereever), and you get here usd 100 bills. The commission i usually pay is around 3%.

How about sending yourself pesos using Western Union and then going to a cueva and buying dollars?
