It is not easy to start a company and and even less easy to get visa on that. You seem to need a DNI for everything...We have the company (together with an argentine as without DNI we could not be director), and are now trying to get visa.
Argentinaresidency does not seem to be able to help us "owning a company does not give you the right to aply for temporary visa" they said, (and could not help us on how to get it in another way) We now have PwC working for us and hopefully they will find a sollution.
It is the same as most threads here : DNI, lots of documents and time time time. No one ever said that emigrating is easy...

Have received notice from ARCA that unless you are a Mercosur Citizen you can no longer obtain Permanent Residency here in Argentina...only Temporary on a Year to Year basis...how about that. Can only hope that the Buenos Aires Expatriates Group attempt to repeal this Law.

It seems so. What I find grossly unfair is to have done this to people who are already in the process of going for permanent residency. If they wanted to change the law why not implement it with people who are just beginning the residency process. Why do it to people who have been going through the process for years?
