Folding A Fitted Sheet

I just did my laundry. And folded the fitted sheet like garbage roll..as I always do..

who is watching? and who cares?

Going to be to a nice, clean and ironed set of sheets is a real pleasure. Of course you need a decent cotton sheet to appreciate this, not supermarket crap.
If you have your shower in the evening, it is even better!

Of course, after the first night it is all the same. But I do iron pillowcases, always. Sheets only if I am in the mood/it is not too hot.
My husband complains I actually iron too much stuff that is not worth ironing, such as pajamas, jeans, kitchen towels.
There is no thing like "too much ironing", my grandma ironed even pants!

Ironing sheets is too much. :p However, I've learned that if you are lucky enough to have a clothes dryer, if you are quick and go directly from dryer to bed, the sheets do not get wrinkles and no folding.
Watch out, Martha Stewart.

That's true, Crema!
Unfortunately no dryer for us. :(

But I learned to wash away the guilty feeling when I don't iron them by telling myself that not ironing them is good for the environment (not wasting electricity for the iron). There was this whole idea that ironing clothes was very eco-unfriendly, however I quite enjoy ironing (except shirts) and I do it swiftly. With modern irons it is very fast to do so, sometimes you can even avoid to iron both sides or reverse first.
