French Baguette

Hey everybody. I have been searching the city for a while now looking for a real French baguette. Everybody pointed me to L'epi, but their baguettes were somewhat disappointing. Does anybody know of anyplace?

Do you have a name? I walk by there all the time and haven't seen anyplace...

There is like a french style place and a some sort of Chinese supermarket/restaurant that sells them during lunch

Maybe I should be more specific. I'm looking for a real French boulangerie that has real French baguette like the ones made in France. Thanks guys.

DISCO makes good ones. This was discussed about 6 to 12 months ago. SEARCH it.

And the answer is..... www.lepi.com.ar This is as authenic as in France. A bit out of the way, but worth it.

A good bakery overall but the baguettes are disappointing. I don´t think there a place in BA where you can get a baguette comparable to normal French standards.

I find the baguettes in Carrefour quite acceptable.
