That's GREAT to know, but would you still suggest that a foreigner who has overstayed their visa and, just for one example, wants to be married with an Argentine citizen in the near future to stay away from migraciones until this is resolved?

In other words, would they be subject to arrest while the police verify their domicile or detain them for more than a few hours?
