Saw Fuerza Bruta the other night. Is as mad as a bag of snakes but probably the most original show I've ever seen.

It's on at the Centro Cultural round the back of Recoleta Cemetry. Tickets are good value considering it was 4 times the price when in London. Check it out. Wear something waterproof!

A few photos from it on our blog.

Can you just buy tickets at the door? And, have any idea for how long the show is playing in BA? Don't want to miss this.

Thanks!

John

If it were still showing, yes, you could buy tickets at the door, but it was supposed to close last Sunday.

they have it on ticketportal.com. i'm going next week, so it's not closed yet..

This show is not everyone's cup of tea, or at least it wasn't mine. I quite enjoyed the first 10 minutes, but then got bored of the banging, rave style music and the lack of any real rationale. After 30 minutes I was bored to death. People sliding about, albeit elegantly, on wet plastic above your head, or running against the wind on a conveyor, or well etc etc. If you aren't into the music, you may not think it is that remarkable. It certainly isn't Cirque de Soleil or the much better Archaos.

Well, if you were expecting Cirque de Soleil no wonder you didn't like it. To put it in the same category is not correct. Fuerza Bruta is not even in the same category. It's experimental theater/modern dance not contemporary circus like Cirque de Soleil/Archaos.
