Hi all
I've been impressed since i've been here with the Argentine law which advocates there must be at least one option for Coeliacs on every menu, however this often seems to equate to steak and chips or something similar.
I am finding the wheat free premezcla's to be somewhat lacking in taste or cohesion and wondered if there were any Coeliacs in the City who might have found any of the following products:
Semolina Flour (Harina de Semola)
Potato Flour (Harina de Papas)
Xanthan Gum (Not sure if there is a translation or if this has even made it out to Argentina yet).
I'm looking to make my own mixes and bake and cook a lot more (It can be frustrating in a city of cakes, bread, pizza and pasta having to eat beef all of the time!!).
If there is anyone on the site who has found any of these things, thanks so much for your help.
Best wishes to all for a wonderful Carnaval weekend.
