Go or no-go

No problem, it's a long process just to apply, and the money just for applying adds up pretty quickly too, so you want to be pretty certain when you start the process that it's really what you want to do.

Why would you advice it knowing the basics about the friend I described?

Are you asking me? If you are I have no idea what you are asking anymore. You've sort of lost me.

As I said, we came for my husband's job, for his career, so he can gain the experience he needs to move up faster & in the direction he wants. If that were not the case, if he didn't have this job with this company, we wouldn't have come here. You said "assume he has this job". I'm assuming it's the one he wants to help with his career. All in all it's been a good experience. We are quite happy here although we won't stay forever. Under the propers circumstances, then YES.

Now, having said that, you've seen my other answer. If he doesn't have a job lined up before he got here, I'd say NO.

Ultimately it's up to you. Your life is different from mine.

Isn't it time to drop the third party nonsense?

You seem to know your "friend" too well and answer too fast for "him" to be someone other than yourself.

This made me laugh a little. :) Facebook seems to be the only socially acceptable situation to talk about yourself in third person.

I highly doubt he will decide for anything if he does not have a job lined up. Other then maybe a 6 month leave of absence but that seems unlikely at the moment

and futboljunkie (among others)...

Way to go, twin! The lack of a period at the end of most of his sentences is one of his trademarks...

So is pretending to be someone he is not.
