grass carp

I am Joseph, a retired professor, spending more time in the country side, than in BA. I often have to solve problems or make improvements on the little farm I started in Esmeralda. Because our pond is loaded with weeds, I am looking for a special species of carp, known as the "grass carp". I have reason to believe it may be available in Argentina. Any suggestions?

I'd start with the UBA faculty of agriculture - the Agronomía - since there are bound to be some people there working on natural methods of pest and weed control. Do update us on how you get on with your problem - it sounds intriguing.
