I hope you´re in a fake confussion . . . . Peron was a national socialist (without ethnical prosecuting), that is not left but right wing.

Now I'm "confussed". I thought that those who employ a "left-right" scheme of classification put socialism on the "left wing"!

National socialism, sometimes named as populism, is a political form that came up after WW I, fighting agaisnt the powerful nations that (in theory and not so if we consider Versailles treaty) subdue weaker ones. So they are against imperialism and not agaisnt the capital like dialectic socialism of Hegel, Marx & Engels. This orientation has many representatives in Latin America besides Peron, like Getulio Vargas in Brasil, Sandino and others in Central America opposed to Roosevelt´s "Big stick" policy.
Here in Argentina, it had close link with Cathholic nationalism. Not a few Montoneros (armed branch of peronist youth in 70´) had their backgrond there and not in Trotzky like ERP ( People´s revolutionary army).
A present example is Chavez. He is not Marxist and usually refers to Peron.

The thing that really screws with my head is that I'm a classical liberal, which means that I'm a strict fiscal conservative with libertarian leanings. Since "classical" liberalism is difficult to explain in passing, I just say libertarian or fiscal conservative. And SteveBsAs, I agree. Capitalism is the only self-fulfilling system of organization in the world. Yes, it would be nice for everyone to have everything they every wanted, but (as the world's history has shown) once they get it, they don't want to work for it. Capitalism is self-organizing and self-rewarding, for those who work hard and those who don't.

Competition between companies and between individuals make every single person on the planet better. If the government will subsidize television (like satellites for TV in Brazil), then who will invest their own money into tv technology? Last time I checked, LCDs, Plasmas, DLPs didn't come out of Brazil. They came out of countries that allow inventors and investors to make money off their products.

Doesn't really matter (everyone knows where Dudester stands - on the Left - VIVA MINOR SOCIALISM - only applies to countries that take care of their people (like the Scandinavia ones, France, etc) .... the proof is that OBAMA was indeed the (Whatever - "Mocha Messiah" was the tasteless nickname on here) and is getting this totally unworkable, disorganized, messed up country (USA) back on track. Working his ass off 6 days a week to clean up the gigantic mess the last 8 years of TOTAL corruption and near fascism brought to this country by the very ignorant, non-working, and twisted team of A-h's CHENEY/BUSH/RICE. Cheney STILL can't shut up and has to go on the sub human Russ Limbaugh's radio show (and FOX) to put down OBAMA in every fictitious way he can come up with - it's SO entertaining watching a Natural Born Loser (Cheney) criticize a Pure Genius, Life Long Winner like OBAMA.

After 8 years of all talk/no action (except for taking care of the Super Rich and U.S. Military), the Republican party is falling apart. It is no long a National Party but ONLY regional with only about a 1/4 membership rate (25%) and no longer represents many area's of the USA. Russ Limbaugh has declared the clown from Alaska, SHARAH PALIN, as the present leader of the splintered and headed for total destruction Republican Party. Maybe God is finally watching over America after all - it almost disappeared there for close to an entire decade. Time for the 3 Stooges (Bush/Cheney/Rice) to have the World Court put them up on trial for mass murder, get some convictions going, and get this entire planet back on track. Anybody check out W's new Hang Out in Northern Dallas bought for almost 4 million Dollars? (Not bad for a joker who's salary was less than $500,000 a year)..... it even has a servants quarters.... wonder if W is gonna go Southern traditional on that one.... I think having old W on trial in The Hague would be much more interesting and amusing than watching him belittle his servants - we saw enough arrogance when he stole 8 years of power ....
