Guide in Ushuaia ? and Calafate excursions?

Four of us will have a seven-hour layover in Ushuaia on a Saturday in the middle of March. Can anyone suggest a guide with vehicle we can get to pick us up at the airport, show us around and deliver us back to the airport? This may be our only chance ever to see the area.


We will also be in Calafate for 3 days. We are thinking that we will get the hotel to help us book excusions while we are there, but if anyone has any recommendations for which agencies or which excursions are best to take, or to skip, the advice would be welcome. Thanks.

Spent a bit of time down in Ushuaia and you may have better luck going into the port and looking around there.

Shame you can't stick around to see the National Park, it's absolutely gorgeous.

I recommend http://www.magellanicnaturetours.com. 7 hours is plenty of time to visit the national park, it's only a 30 minute drive from town.
