My most memorable 4th of July was 49 years ago tonight, on my home country's 200th birthday, when I saw Neil Diamond perform in concert at the Aladdin Theater in Las Vegas.
This video is from the movie "The Jazz Singer" (released in 1980) and in it, Neil looks and sounds the same way as he did on that night in 1976:

I found this video version of Neil's "America" far more interesting than the first one. It features many photos and video clips relevant to the historic holiday.
