Has anyone recently entered BA planning to stay for more than 3 months?

I'm Brazilian and I'm planning to enter Argentina and apply for temporary residency under the Mercosur Agreement, which I'm eligible for. Buuuuut I'm a bit unsure about what to say at immigration.

I know this is probably a silly concern (I've lived in other countries as a nomad before, so I'm not inexperienced), but this time I'm not sure how to answer if the immigration officer asks how long I plan to stay. I've been to Argentina twice as a tourist, and they asked me that question both times.

try telling the truth !
I knooow, it was my first option from the beginning, buuut I heard so many comments saying that immigration officers might question or deny the entry that I started getting a bit worried. I also haven’t found anyone so far who entered the same way to talk to and ask about their experience ):

just be a tourist. I would not show interest in staying here. This is just an opinion. You enter innocently....then start your residence. Showing residence interest will not help you at the entry point. this is purely an opinion. Again an opinion.....especially if you are female. They get suspecious of females traveling alone....again....an opinion.

I'll actually be with my husband, who's also Brazilian. We've been to Argentina twice already, as tourits, don't know if this information can be relevant for them. I've been thinking about saying i'm gonna stay a month (in case they ask it)
