I've seen Karo corn syrup in Disco supermarket from time to time. A lot of the cheaper honey here is part high fructose corn syrup (look for tiny writing on the container, a base de miel y JMAF which stands for jarabe de maiz alta fructosa) and it works well for pecan pie if you don't have the real thing...

In the worst of scenarios, if you can´t find a bottle of real corn syrup, according to AllRecipes.com (a site that I frequently use for cooking), depending on the recipe, you can always substitute 1 cup of corn syrup for one of the following:

1 1/4 cup white sugar plus 1/3 cup water OR
1 cup honey OR
1 cup light treacle syrup

It might be worth a shot!
