Help With Washing Machine

I chose a top loader because we are a family of 5 and those front loaders don't seem to fit many clothes in them. I have the same Philco one and it tangles things..but not to a point it irritates me.
 
Some of the smaller top loading machines don't have the agitator in the center. Without the agitator your junk gets twisted.
