Hi,

My name is Kevin and I am looking at moving to Buenos Aires in the next months. I am a world traveler, been to BA a few times and have fallen absolutely in love with it.

Been looking for a job down there for a few weeks now, but haven't gotten any bites yet. Hopefully I do soon.

Looking forward to chatting with you guys!
Kevin

Welcome Kevin. The job market is fairly tight at the moment, as it is in the majority of the world.

Whats your experience and what kind of work are you looking for? Q tal tu español?

Hello Kevin,

As Trennod says the job vacancies depend on your Spanish level. I understand there are some options to work for call centers speaking in English but you have to manage some Spanish too. Try to have a look on it. Good Luck!

Did you check the web site David recommended? Just be sure to come with a backup plan / back up cash (particularly for an air ticket) in case you need. Some $US in cold hard cash might not be a bad idea either (hopefully you are aware of the "dollar situation").

Yes, started looking through that site last night. Looks like some interesting leads. I have a Master's in Clinical Psychology. IT was a hobby that kind of turned into a career to pay back student loans and I never really got out of it. Enjoyed it too much.

I wouldn't mind being a practicing counselor or doing some HR work.
