Not over 64 or 65 at Aleman... I also went to OSDE and the plan costs $600 per month....yes I said per month. In the end I hope to self insure and keep my plan in Colombia. Colombia has the best insurance for seniors of any place in the world that I know of....including Medicare Advantage in the U.S.

I joined a few months ago. A mixed bag so far but all in all a positive. Yeah, I'm 67 and paying about $200US. I use the clinic on Larrea for the most part, but some services are only offered at the hospital.

My Wife has Italiano and it is supposed to have the best doctors in the country but she has to wait 1-2 months for appointments some times. She had swiss for a while through work and would use that over the Italiano as she could get to see a doctor much quicker.

Wife and I are on SwissMed and since a year or so have consistently decided to pay for a specialist instead of going to SwissMed at Sta Fe and Pueyrredon and having to wait hours for the simplest things.
Appointments are also few and far appart. Usually in November you start getting appointments for March and April because of the Summer break but now they are already issuing June and July dates. Nonsense.

Cash in hand does get you your choice of Doctors and closer dates. Sorry to say that service is also much better, we have discovered. Almost discarding Sta Fe and Pueyrredon as our first option nowadays.

Nope, can`t help. Haven`t had need for a doctor in that area.

Make sure you can access your file using an internet browser. No more printouts, everything is in their Intranet for their own specialists. So, if you want to go anywhere else you better access the web and download / print your results.

I use OSDE for last 10 years. Its really the best. Access to almost any doctor except dentists ( Most good dentists like to work outside the insurance system).

It does not accept people over 65.
