Hi community! Is it possible while living in Argetina buy something from Amazon? And what`s most important will it arrive to my door at time? What`s your late personal experience?

You must have a tax number to pay the taxes.

I would suggest that you go talk to the customs agent on the second floor of the post office in the city center. In Moreno 175. He is very nice, but not flexible. He will inform you of the rules but not bend them for you.

Now it is much easier to bring thgs from abroad and there are various "Puerta a Puerta" services : Correo Argentino: https://epago.correoargentino.com.ar/#/login, aerolineas Argentina has one also : https://www.lavoz.com.ar/negocios/a...puerta-puerta-para-compras-online-en-exterior.
If u register to Aerolineas Services (there are others like ioimporto.com.ar) they will provide u with an address in miami so u can have ur thgs ship there (Amazon and others will not ship to Argentina). U dont need a DNI. Best is to check with correo argentino (the link above) they explain very clearly all the steps involved.

I find this interesting looking in from the outside. I commented on a Youtube video recently how interesting it was to me to note there’s still so many bookshops remaining in Buenos Aires. The video is on a channel of walking videos around the city. I suppose this is a major reason why. Here in the UK they’ve all but disappeared. The trite phrase “be careful what you wish for” springs to mind
