How to get $US to someone in Argentina

The funds are for our friend who is doing us a favor and making an in person payment that must be in $US. She is an Argentine national but I am not sure what ARCA is. We will see what happens. In the future we would like to be able to send her $$ from our US bank that she can receive into her Argentine bank as reimbursement for helping with care for our mother. We need this to be as easy as possible for her as she is doing us a HUGE favor.

There is no short cut rapid answer to this. There are many ways to get money from the US to Argentina using various apps if the sender and recipient are sufficiently savvy, but once you enter the banking system, everything becomes much more formal and the paperwork required more important. If you want to get to the point where you can wire dollars directly to her Argentine dollar account, she will need to prepare for that on her end with her accountant prior to you initiating wires.

"Reimbursement for favors" sounds very casual, but once you enter the realm of regular wires for services rendered you are talking about a salary for a domestic employee and that is how ARCA...the version of the IRS down here will likely see it.
