Just spent a few days in Ibera, it was amazing to say the least. Huge wetlands preserve with awsome wild life all over the place like a living zoo really. Even encountered an Anaconda about 4 meters long. So much to see and some fun horse back riding. Great place to get away. Back to civilization now.

That's my next holiday destination but last time I checked it was on the thousand dollar ballpark for 4 days for two people (travel, accommodation and excursions).

Is it still that expensive?

We paid $160 USD a a day great accomidations meals included and all the tours etc. Horse back adventure 300 pesos get to see the monkeys. The place
was just mind blowing really.

Also I would do 3 days not much to see beyond that unless you just want chill for a week or so. I live up here the North so we drove. Best to go to Merecedes and hire a driver with a truck to take you in they know the roads and it is not some place I woud take a car. 4X4 is needed.
