Immigrant Visa Interview (spouse visa)

We found out the hard way that even though the National Visa Center (NVC) does not require a military service document for Argentine men applying for a green card, the U.S. Embassy in BA does. So be sure to get this document, which takes a month to process, before your interview! (There is info about this on the Embassy website, but our lawyer said we didn't need it...thanks lawyer.) Also, it may have been mentioned, but take copies of all your passports to the interview. They will do it for you there, but they do prefer that you bring them yourself.
