Immigration Lawyer in 2023

I have contacted a few lawyers and had a couple of email/WhatsApp exchanges. That's it. Googling"Argentina immigration lawyers" or "Argentina citizenship lawyers" bring a good number of lawyers with nearly 5 to 60 reviews for each of them.
Hi!! Were you able to advance in any way with with the residency permit? I am currently looking for a good lawyer to help a dear with with it, but it’s been very hard to know which ones are good and legit. Hope everything is going well for you! :)

I’m also looking for one… not sure if it’s because this week is a short week or what’s the reason… I messaged 6 different law firms… not getting any response😱 will try to call them directly this or next week! Love to hear any recommendations 🙏🏻🙏🏻

Sure, everybody left last Friday until next week.

Watching gringos around me as I am almost a gringo; the ones married to an Argentine and held a residency for a while got their citizenship applications approved a lot faster.

I used https://www.immigrar.com/ and i worked with Cecilia.

She was very helpful and we explored all options. Eventually I decided to study and got a student visa. She helped me every step of the way until the moment I recieved my DNI in hand.

After living here for a few years and being much more fluent I got my permanent residency on my own. It was not very complicated. However, I know that if I did not have the help of Cecilia at first, when applying for the student visa, I would have been confused. I highly recommend.
Can you let us know the costs involved with using this agency please?

Hi, I paid in pesos but it was somewhere around $650-700 USD more or less at the time. Upon reflection, the price seems high, but the peace of mind it brought me was worth it at that time. Again, I was a complete newbie- I didn't know what an apostille was, where to get my finger prints taken, how to get reports on my background etc.

When I then went on to apply for residency I opted to do it myself (as I mentioned). I had a better understanding of the system at that point and felt capable of navigating the process on my own and I saved money (obviously).
