Does anyone know what the import duties are in uruguay for electronics?

Think I remember reading something about the import duty being much lower in uruguay than argentina, which opens up the prospect of having things shipped there and crossing the border to collect them.

Dunno, but one option could be to use a company that forwards your packages to you. This company will let you create your own packaging invoice:

But it could still get hold up in customs I guess. And I haven't tried it myself.
