Inflation woes: A can of tuna now costs 4500

and who drinks cheap wine?
:)
They are known for having better deals than larger stores, however I have seen different in the last couple of years. That being said, cheap wine is really bad for my stomach heheh

I just paid $2500 for a red pepper in Jumbo 🤯
It must have been a huge Pepper..! My argie neighbour told me the same thing, I refrained from telling her "Just Don't Buy" because she would never understand...?

It was a big pepper to be fair!
When I weighed it I very nearly put it back on the shelf.
But the Britisher in me wouldn’t allow it.

Wait, like one red pepper was more than 2k? I'm glad we reached Swiss standard, at least with prices.

You're living it up! Red peppers are less than 1500 pesos at Coto, green ones are half that (we got a tray of 3 for 1500 if I remember correctly).

Yes but I needed a red pepper for salsa criolla and I’m not traipsing around the city looking for the lowest priced loss leading red pepper around

Jumbo Palermo has always been the most expensive place going so more fool me for going there in the first place.

^ I know but I have used it everyday and have a good feel for prices. It suddenly jumped from yesterday.
