So, after ~3 years in BA for me and 2 years for my wife, we're getting ready to pack up and move across the border to Brazil. However, we have a couple of bigger things we want to keep, such as the dishwasher, keyboard, plus other odds and ends.

Does anyone have any recommendations for movers or shippers going from AR to BR? I seem to remember @Quilombo recently made a similar move, if I'm not mistaken.

Related, if anyone is interested in a '90s Alfa, I'm putting ours up for sale after we get back from our house-hunting trip next week, along with other things we're not taking with us.

We used this company to move our entire household from the U.S. to Argentina in 2022:

The service was beyond excellent, at once professional yet personal. I would not hesitate to used them again, and even keep in touch with the owner though we'll never move again. HIGHLY recommended! (with thanks to Nikad for the initial contact info).

Nazareno has been trying to figure out who referred us to him, and I've got to say, easily the most professional moving company I've ever dealt with, ever. Super on-the-ball, awesome to work with, friendly. They make it easy, 10/10 recommendation.

May I ask why you're leaving @darksider415 ? Your posts helped me when I was submitting my PR application and I'm curious to know what your reasons are if you're ok to share. My husband are I are also debating this every now and then.

In our case, it's partially because my wife misses Brazil, partially because the quality of the fruits/vegetables here is mediocre at best compared to Brazil, partially because we really can't get a house that fits all of our needs, within our budget in BA, and partially because our cost of living will go down by moving to Rio even with a bigger house.

So, it's a mix of quality of life and social factors for us.

Naza won't disappoint you. Tell him 'River Plate from Washington State' made the referral... perhaps that will jog his Boca memory
