I saw Ireland v Argentina at Velez Stadium back in '07. I had just visited Ireland for the first time right before coming to Argentina for the first time. I was definitely pulling for Ireland back then because I had been in Dublin for the Ireland v England game in Croke Park for the 6 Nations and the energy in the city was electric.

Ireland didn't send their best players.

Ireland didn't score.

Los Pumas beat France to open the '07 World Cup.

Los Pumas came in 3rd in the World Cup.
