Is airbnb like the only way to get a rental now?

Yeah that's what I want, just 1 or 2 months

My question about airbnb I have never used it before but I always thought it was like just for bookings of a few nights I didn't know if it's normal to book a place for say 1 month on there
We have an AirBnB unit in Palermo that we routinely rent for 2-3 months. Keep looking, and ask for a deal!

I don't mind paying in dollars. What I mind is the greedy shits trying to charge me 1st world prices for a 3rd world property.
I find so many are paying those prices in order to be in Palermo. There are some very reasonable rents, but perhaps not in prime Palermo.

I used to come to Argentina frequently 15 years ago back then it was all about craigslist. Now I'm looking for a short term rental and craigslist is completely empty? I'm getting old and technology has passed me by because I just can't deal with airbnb for some reason. Is there like no alternative?

Damn I miss craigslist so many friends I met on there and beautiful apartments I rented from there

Hi, try TripAdvisor or Vrbo

For many years I have used a local rental agent, Maru González Galiño: https://www.marubuenosaires.com/ . She specializes in short-term rentals for foreigners. She has always done right by me. Being Argentina, it's cash only, at the dollar blue rate, of course.

What’s the best way to get in touch? I sent an email but never got a reply

Jtee.... she was in Chile. Her business WhatsApp is: +54 9 11 6693 1234. You can view her properties there. She has a nice one in Canitas that she wanted me to take. But I'm in a nice area now and don't want the hassle of a move.
