Would have your relative seriously consider this route, i.e. a business to business arrangement. Then it becomes more of an import/export question than one of labor laws.
I'm in BsAs working for a remote US company as a contractor. Granted there's an agency in between, but that doesn't change anything for the company we're working for. Me being a foreigner, however, means I don't have to think about the Argentine side to this, meaning I couldn't tell you what's involved opening a business here and selling services abroad.
