Is Michael Jackson Running for President of Argentina?

Flipping through the TV channels, the night before the Argentine elections, Michael Jackson is on half the news channels. I don't speak Spanish, so I was wondering is he running as a Peronist or on another ticket?

On a side note, we have been listening to his songs all night. He had some great tunes over the years!

I too was flipping through channels and thought the governor of S. Carolina was either running for president of Argentina or somehow involved with the death of M. Jackson wasn't sure which.
