Is The Global Entry System Worth Joining?

If you have Amex Platinum or Centurion, you also get reimbursed the cost of Global Entry. It's a good way to make up part of their annual fee along with the $200 airline credit they give you.

If it´s going to save long line ups at airports, and possible harassment by immigration officials at one country especially (I´m not
thinking of Argentina), it sounds worth it.

I've had it and used it for about a year now. It doubles as SENTRI for US/Mex crossings (huge!)

The two downsides for it: I like collecting stamps in my passport and you no longer get the US entry one. Also, instead of waiting in line at immigration, you usually end up waiting in line for luggage. Useful if that immigration line is real long, though.

If you decide to get this I would like to suggest that you get a Nexus card instead. You get the Global Entry with the Nexus but it only costs $50US.
