Is the Overstay Fine Payable at Aeroparque Jorge Newberry?

An updated perspective... I went to the aeroparque on a weekday afternoon in December. Although my transaction only took about 5 minutes, I waited nearly 2 hours, and the line was much longer when I left. Make sure to allow plenty of time!

I wonder if you went to a different Migraciones office there, I’ve never seen anyone else there at all. Where was the office?

Last time I overstayed my visa 10 years ago there was people waiting at the start of the first check in line looking at passports and if you were over 90 days they redirected you to the other side of the airport to pay the fine before checking in

What's happens now there's no more passport stamps ? Is there anything at all to stop you just leaving and pay the fine online later ( or not at all if you don't plan on coming back )

The office is in international arrivals, next to the rental car counters.

I eat my words. Went today. Waiting over an hour already, only five people ahead of me but the line doesn’t move at all, and there twenty people behind me. One person working. Total mess.

I have never waited or seen a line at this office. Wow, I wonder if the system is not working? Thanks for posting this and good luck!
