It's Too Expensive Here!

COULD YOU UPDATE THIS -- CURIOUS TO SEE WHAT DIFFERENCE NEARLY SIX MONTHS MAKES. THANKS....

First of all, the monthly cost I posted above (in dollars) was incorrect!

The correct amount in dollars should have been $314 USD...NOT $392 USD.

This is the list I posted on 15 April, 2017:

Auto insurance: $1000
Home insurance: $625/font]
DirecTV: $700
Electricity: $150
Gas (LP): $625
Property and municipal taxes: $175
WiFi (no phone): $430
Nafta (average): $500
Car maintenance (average) $500

Total: $4705 = $392 USD per month. (@ 15 pesos to 1 US dollar)

So, that's almost a 40% increase (in dollars) in 20.5 months.

Comments:

I'm driving less and using less electricity and LP gas than I was in 2015.

With WiFi and a smart TV I am just about ready to give up DirecTV

CORRECTION (SEPTEMBER 8, 2017): THIS SHOULD HAVE BEEN: Total: $4705 ARS @ $15 to $1USD = $314 USD!

The electric bill was abnormally low for that billing period and since then the rates (finally) increased by about 50%. The cost per month for the most recent billing period ((June and July) was $225 per month.. That increase has been offset by the fact that I used far less gas this winter to heat my house.

Auto insurance is now $1087 per month and home insurance is now $632

So, even though the total costs per month might be slightly less than $4705 I'll continue to use that number..

The most recent money transfer I made ( on the first of September) using XOOM was at almost $17 to $1 USD..

That means my monthly expenses in dollars is presently: $277 USD

And, unless I've made another mistake, that's six dollars LESS per month than I was spending in 2015!!!!
