The job:
Reporting to the Head of SEO, you will be responsible for managing our growing multilingual marketing team, including recruitment, monitoring, reporting and training. While a background in marketing would be ideal, you will be given full training on Internet Marketing and Search Engine Optimisation (and will spend a lot of time on the internet). Job Details

SEO Specialist This job is for a group of British companies, working from your own home and managing a team of people and liaising with colleagues and MD remotely.
Position Description
Job Mission:
The role of the SEO specialist is to develop and implement an SEO strategy for The FJ Group of websites (12 sites at present), coordinate with other point of sales and departments on SEO strategy, and develop and document SEO expertise within the industry. You will be expected to recruit people, set strategy, train your staff and keep up to date and ahead of the game.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
- SEO Strategy
1. Identify the key initiatives for The FJ Group worldwide
SEO strategy, acting on all levers (pages, content, linking, technology, buzz…) to increase traffic and sales from unbranded SEO
2. Define the objectives, plan & model the impact of these initiatives to feed into the budget process
3. Communicate to hierarchy and peers on the initiatives & results

- SEO Operations
1. Implement the different initiatives of defined strategy, working with internal and external contacts
2. Measure and report on all initiatives vs objectives, stop and/or expand
3. SEO analysis: global and detailed SEO results monitoring report, analysis of specific questions and additional knowledge to feedback to the business (trends, behaviours..)
4. Test and learn new techniques and approaches

- Coordination & Expertise
1. Coordinate with Programming team on SEO related projects & technology support
2. Foster knowledge and learning regarding SEO within The FJ Group regions by being the most up to date on SEO news and changes
3. Take active part in SEO work stream with ownership for some items
4. Coordinate with Brand Managers and Marketing
5. Share initiatives, best practice and results

Success Criteria:
• Excellent SEO technical skills & expertise:
1. A detailed understanding of Google webmaster guidelines, of keyword research and targeting, of content management systems and knowledge of content principles
2. Understanding of cookies, redirects, server configuration, url configuration, coding of html and javascript and analytics tagging approaches
3. Hands on SEO experience
• At least 2 years experience of managing SEO for an online retailer or media in a competitive market (or you could be an SEO specialist with a track record of success in the private sector)
• Good analytical skills
• Good relationship & communication skills
• Awareness of how to do good linkbuilding, social media and PPC
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Experience in recruiting, managing and training a team
• Experience of dealing directly with clients
• Awareness of where to find the answers to any internet marketing questions
• Ability to work from home and manage remote team
• Ability to manage your own time and focus on results

Highly Desirable
• Knowledge of other online marketing channels and their interactions with SEO

Hours: You will work 40 hours per week. Flexible schedule is possible.
