Learning espanol

Hola Everybody

I would like to hear from any people who have moved here for reasons of the heart, and how they took on the task of learning espanol. I feel that perhaps our needs of learning might be different than that of folks who have allways had a strong desire to learn espanol. Any advice from those who have been there done that apreciated, and yes I have searched through this site on this topic allready.

hey Douglas, i'm still learning myself, but i've learned it's best to take classes. Also, watching tv in english with spanish subtitles seems to help me a lot with the vocabulary, because I pick up on it without realizing it. Talking to people helps also, to practice the vocabulary, and usually the people are pretty friendly and willing to correct you.
