definitely go with the Schwab if you can set it up before you come down. i have paypal and it costs a fortune! next time i am back in the states i will get an account and do the schwab!
I highly recommend you get a capital one credit card. It's one of the few credit cards that don't charge an Int'l transaction fee. Whenever I go to Argentina I just mostly use my capital one card for purchases and never get charged a transaction fee. They also give you the best conversion rate. They are generally an easy card to get too.
