It is not disrespectful at all. That is communal living. If you buy a new flat or you want to renovate your home, you can do that as permitted in the relevant rules and laws and this is part of the communal living. If anyone doesn’t want any noise or anything from neighbours then they should consider living in a house on a private land away from people.

Yea, you're right Lanick, wail on your walls whenever the rules permit it. Baby napping next door? Screw 'em. Piano lessons downstairs? Dumb ass neighbor should have bought a house. It's not disrespectful at all. You've got communal living really figured out there. I'm sure a nice fat initial retainer fee to your attorney and numerous aggressive confrontations with your neighbors is a much better solution. Hell maybe you can pay extra for a restraining order or something. That'll make the elevator encounters extra special. Thanks for your input.

Having twins under 2 yo myself, I don’t think I can expect my neighbour to not renovate his/her flat above mine. Or stop work while the babies are sleeping. There’s are permitted rights. It’d be nice to be understanding of your neighbours but also the neighbours who got babies or having siesta between 2 and 4 should be accommodating and accepting the consequences of communal living.
