Looking for an American-style breakfast

If you're in CABA, I know there's a place by Hospital Aleman called Jay's that has those items. I went when it first opened and it was absolutely passable and satisfied my craving for diner fare as much as a restaurant in Buenos Aires could. Seems from reviews it's hit or miss but could be worth a shot.

Came here to give another positive review for Jays. Is the coffee trash? Yes. Is the bacon transparent? Yes. But there’s real maple syrup and that’s a win in my book.

Another opinion on Jays. Not recommendable at all, won't go back. From 1 to 10 a three minus.

Someone can try Crespin, too far for me . Good reviews

I also walked by a place opening soon in Cañitas called Nicky Cheese, they have a location in Belgrano already. It looks as though it's a hipster version of a diner with their own play on North American-inspired fare.
Do you recall where in Cañitas? I often shop there.

It's going to be on Migueletes between Matienzo and the Pasaje San Benito de Palermo. It was most recently a sushi shop, and before that it was Laban bakery. It's not open yet but I saw the sign and looked it up as I'm often over there as well. Not sure when they'll open shop but if I'll keep an eye out. The fact that it looks as though they serve sausage links intrigued me enough to add it to my 'to try' restuurant list. haha

Thanks, that's just around the corner for me. Will be on the lookout for the store opening. Let's hope their hash browns are good - they are the hardest thing to get right.

I've tried making them and always end up with a soggy mess.
