Looking for other board game players!

I've been to Conexion Berlin a long time ago but I'm not sure if these days it's open.

Does anyone here like playing board games, already have a gathering on a semi-regular basis, or know of such a gathering? I've found one such group on MeetUp, but their timing isn't great for me. Open to any and all board games!
What kind of board games do you mean?
I used to play Risk and Monopoly a lot, but that was a long time ago ...

How about this Saturday or the next (4/29 or 5/6)? I was thinking 21:00 at their Recoleta location (Ayacucho 1571). Note that reservations and prepayment are required.
Hey. For this Saturday (29th) I've already made plans. But can do 5 May. Perhaps we could meet before and have a bite to eat or something.

If their social media accounts are to be believed, they're still at it!

I'm a fan of word games (like Scrabble), and also Euro-style games. I've also been known to play chess and card games!

But can do 5 May.
This Saturday isn't looking great for me anymore, would next Saturday (13/5) work for you @Monzi?

In case anyone finds this thread and is looking for people to play with or places to play, I thought I'd give a little update. I started a group on Meetup to organize weekly board game nights, which you can find here: https://www.meetup.com/buenos-aires-game-night-meetup-group
We've been meeting every Thursday at 18:30 for over a year now and are currently meeting at a place called DODA (see below for more about that). There's also a group on WhatsApp where people organize getting together, usually on Sundays at DODA - if you want to join send me a DM.

Here are three places I've gone to play, with a general sense of the experience of each:
  • DODA - Around 1,300 games. Knowledgeable staff who can help select and teach games, all around good-quality food, open 7 days/week. Reservations needed on weekends, generally not on weekdays.
  • La Board Game House - Maybe 300-400 games. Staff are able to teach at least some of the games, but seemingly less than DODA. The food quality is decent for merienda, but meh if you're looking for something more filling. Open 7 ways/week. Reservations needed on weekends, generally not on weekdays.
  • Conexión Berlin - 1,475 games, but more limited hours (weekends only). I've been here fewer times given the limited hours, but their staff are also knowledgeable in my experience. Reservations recommended.
