Hi all,
My friend and I are looking for something fun to do tonight near Las Canitas or Palermo
(We're both 36 year old females and I don't think a Boliche would be a good fit).

Any thoughts or ideas? Thanks so very much!

I thought i had posted but it seems to have not made it so i will try once more....i had said":

Hey!
I was born in Buenos Aires but have been living abroad for a year and a half, so just came back home! I would suggest you to go to some bar or pub, I love Tazz (http://www.tazzbars.com/) but there are a lot of good ones. You should hang out in Plaza Serrano, there are nice restaurants also. And you can't miss going out in Puerto Madero.
Buena suerte!

not sure how well you already know BA, but Congo is always a safe bet. has an outside back yard and is patronized by a full range of ages. both expats and local go. thursday is usually a good night, but it wont get "going" like most places until 1230.
congo is on honduras at godoy cruz. u can google the exact addy.
hope you have fun if you go.

ps. if you feel like starting earlier, a pre night drink at Bar 6 on Armenia and el Salvador, or Rio which is on Honduras and near Malabia are good bets. lastly Carnal has a great patio roof terrace as well.

These are great suggestions!! Thank you so much, I'll be sure to follow up on them.

Also, thanks ladies for coming out with me last night, I had a really nice time :)

We started off with dinner at Makoto and then strolled up and down Baez.

We settled into a really cozy spot (can't remember the name of the bar) and people watched until 3 in the morning! The drinks were mediocre & expensive. But we had such great conversation that we didn't really care, even laughed about it on the way home.
