Lebanese speak Arabic but are not Arabs they are Phoenician. They look different and also are different culturally from Gulf Arabs and Saudis for example.

Polostar, I won't go into that debate (Phoenician vs arab). The ethnicity of Lebanese is arab , yet culture and looks are different only because of the country's influence by the west. Ethnicity and culture are completely different things.
Anyway that's beyond the point.

Interesting post.. In my own work I have found Arabs, well let’s just say perhaps those not under the influence of the current insanity trending with the extremely insane minority that makes the headlines and juices the propaganda machines. The ones I have known, which I will admit are just a few, I have found them to be extraordinarily intelligent, honorable, ethical and open minded. Actually quite the contrary to what even I would have expected or thought.

As one of my very dear and close Iranian friends once told me, even though he no longer lives in Iran. Persia was magnificent until the insanity of the minority of the extremists of “a religion” tainted everything.
