Macri to implement price controls: Let's Do The Timewarp Again

So you answer my question with another question, instead of addressing the original issue?

You claimed that she was "paying back the loans like crazy" when facts shows that she was taking more debt. The reasons she was taking in debt are besides the point (that money was mostly stolen anyways). The point is that you claimed that she was paying back debt when she wasn't.

The last President policy was to pay debt. If you pay more than you ask, your policy is to pay debt.
If she took some debt for infrastructure, that is great!
MM took 150 billion usd to make capital fligh happenfs. Your reasoning is retarded.

I understand your frustration, MM needs to copy CFK because he is inable to rule.

Just because MM hasn't done a good job managing the economy, doesn't mean CFK's policies were positive.

Here's how the FT described the state of the economy before the election in 2015.

Argentina’s economy a poisoned chalice for president’s successor

Whoever wins Argentina’s presidential elections on Sunday will inherit an economy in dire straits. Restricted access to foreign currency has caused the country’s reserves to decline to dangerously low levels. Most observers expect President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner to hand over power on December 10 without the economy suffering another big financial shock. But her successor may not be so lucky.

How bad is it? Pretty bad. At the root of the problem is a ballooning fiscal deficit, now about 7-8 per cent of national output, which is being financed by printing money. It should be no surprise, therefore, that Argentina has one of the highest inflation rates in the world. It reached about 30 per cent last year but has since fallen thanks to stalled economic growth.

And Macri did absolutely nothing to change that. If anything, he doubled down on this approach. I think on his pea sized brain, he thought that international investors would just fall in love with his bright blue eyes, and pour dollars into Argentina's economy as is, without the need for any fundamental reforms, allowing him to finance his budget deficits.
When that did not happen, he was left with his bare naked ass hanging outside the window, and he does not know what else do.
I came to the conclusion that the fundamental problem in Argentina is not ideological. It is not Left vs. Right or Socialism vs. Capitalism. The main issue here is the fundamental lack of elemental moral decency and ethics on everyone. Macri and Cristina are nothing but a reflection of a society broken and rotten to its very core.

And Facturas !

Change the hair and Lagarde is a dead ringer for Salvador Dali.

Yes he is. He is as desperate and as clueless about what to do next as the previous regime.
MM did many good things like removing capital control, loosening the government control and welcoming back the oversea capital back. But he was too tough on the poor, and he lost the control of currency. He is talking about balance the budget just now, he had the chance to balance the budget since day 1. Now he looks very confused, he is not smart as he looked at the election. But not sure CFK was leading the country to the right direction, if CFK rules the country for too long, it could be worse. Either way, Argentina looks bad now.
