Mail Service To Buenos Aires

Soon I will be having my apostille FBI report mailed to me in BSAS. From your experience which service would you recommend. USPS, UPS, DHL or Fed Ex. Of course, there will be a tracking on the envelope. Would prefer if the envelope could just be delivered directly to my home without the hassle of going to Retiro and wasting my day. Thanks.......

One option is to have it sent to someone in the USA who is coming to Buenos Aires.

DHL has a good service here

I vote DHL over FedEx. USPS might be OK, but you start to deal with vagaries of Argentine mail system at that point. Don't have any experience with UPS.

Best option may be as DirtBoy says, if you know someone coming down.

For envelopes most are probably fine for anything bigger i wouldn't bother with DHL as they made me go to EZE to pick my shit up. FedEx allowed me to pay for my stuff at my door.

This was a couple of years ago. I'm sure they're all bad for big stuff.

Whenever I need documents my family sends them to me via FedEx and they come straight to my door. Just documents, anything larger than a kilo or two in a box will be stuck in EZE
