Hi everyone,
Does anyone know where/if I can buy malt vinegar in Buenos Aires? Many thanks.

We are on the last quarter of our last bottle of Sarsons , so if you find any let us know.

Haven't seen any in any retail shop down here in the last three years

But maybe I am looking in the wrong place.....

You are looking in the wrong place.

You're looking in Argentina.

It must exist . When I googled vinagre de malta and specified local pages only it came up with recipes containing it, but no provider or local make.I will google some more and let you know if I find anything.

i have never heard of it . I do know however somone who owns a "dietetica" where he sells all sorts of things that are considered exotic or hard to find.
Im on it , Ill let you know what I can find out

Just wondering, what do you use it for?
Nancy

it has a few uses but one of the most popular ones is that you put it on home made chips or french fries

don't dare mock it until you have tried it.......

Oh thanks everyone! I had a look around Barrio China but to be honest I didn't look in all the supermarkets, so I'll have another look in the weekend. If I find some I'll let you all know too. Thanks again!

PS I'm making Piccallili relish and Kumara (Sweet Potato) chutney which requires malt vinegar.
